Integrate Google Ads with Affise BI to Keep The Data at Hand

Within the Affise BI project, we keep turning disorganized data into business insights by integrating the most crucial data sources and building actionable reports and dashboards. Following the latest updates of the BI report based on Appsflyer data, we are introducing a new integration with Google Ads, the well-known advertising service, every marketer is familiar with.

This article outlines the main features of the new report based on data from Google Ads, some ad spend statistics and the reason you need to connect your Google ads account to Affise.

About Google Ads

“Google Ads is an online advertising solution that businesses use to promote their products and services on Google Search, YouTube and other sites across the web. Google Ads also allows advertisers to choose specific goals for their ads, like driving phone calls or website visits. With a Google Ads account, advertisers can customise their budgets and targeting, and start or stop their ads at any time.”

From year to year Google maintains a leading position in online advertising. According to Emarketer, in Q2 2021, Google’s revenue rose by 68% for Google search and other ads, to $38.85 billion. Without a doubt, this marketing channel is in demand among businesses of all sizes. In response to this demand, we are providing affiliate marketers with the tools to communicate and manage data across various traffic sources, Google ads among them.

Affise BI Report Based on Data from Google Ads

Before you start using a new report, you need to find Google Ads plugin in Affise Marketplace and sign in to your Google Ads Account. In so doing, you give Affise access to your data.

After successful connection setup, Google Ads tab will appear in the Statistics section.

The report includes the following slices:

  • Date,
  • Campaign,
  • Ad Type,
  • Ad,
  • Ad Group,
  • Device,
  • Country,
  • City.

The Google Ads data affiliate marketers can access in Affise BI encompasses impressions, clicks, interactions, cost, conversions, value, and budget.

Fill the Data Gap with Affise BI

Affise BI enables affiliate marketers to collect data from all their marketing tools and see the full picture of marketing performance in one place. At Affise, you don’t miss a thing while making business decisions, as you can analyze, compare and visualize big data sets from numerous sources at ease.

Furthermore, there is another reason for you to start using Google Ads integration. As Google does not allow marketers to use third party links, it becomes challenging to track clicks and conversions from this traffic source. To overcome this challenge, we highly recommend to use Affise BI report and a solution for Parallel tracking.

If you want to learn more about Affise BI or the Affise platform in general, let us learn a bit more about your business and its goals. We will try to assist and find a suitable solution for you.
